University of Central Punjab, Lahore believes that co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are really important for the personality growth of the students. Out of the tough academic routine these co-curricular and extra-curricular activities not only provide the change in their routines but also help them to know their hidden talents and short comings.

The Society for the Advancement of Computer Science (SACS) was formed in 2000, and its salient features include:

• To encourage unity and consultation amongst members
• To motivate academic excellence by offering scholastic support
• To introduce members to technological advancements in the field of computer science
• To integrate students into operational matters of the Computer Science Department.

SACS provides numerous services and opportunities for students such as tutoring, web developing, Organizing Sports and organizing workshops with companies. SACS also holds social get-togethers and outings, and is also active in holding inter-university software development competitions, quiz programs and many other exciting computer-related activities

This time University of Central Punjab, Lahore has organized PICTRONIX [Pakistan IT Competition of Technology] which is an all Pakistan event between 31st May to 1st June. Universities from all over the Pakistan are invited to participate in the event.
